Conductor

Multi-item baking, solved.

The oven,

Pizza at 425°. Wings at 400°. Fries at 450°. Three timers, one oven, one finish line. Tell us what's on the counter — we'll hand back one temperature and the exact minute each item goes in.

The tool

Tell me what's on the counter.

Add up to two items free. Three or more is where the math gets interesting — that's Conductor Pro.

Quick start:

What Conductor catches

The math you didn't want to do.

Decades of culinary heuristics, distilled into a calculator. Conductor reads each item, classifies how heat-sensitive it is, and finds a schedule where nothing burns and nothing comes out raw.

  1. 01

    It picks the right temperature.

Not just the average. Conductor weighs each item's tolerance for heat — pizza cheese chars fast, a pot pie barely cares — and chooses an oven temp that respects the most delicate item. If two items genuinely can't share an oven, it tells you to cook them in two batches instead of pretending.

  2. 02

    It adjusts each item's time.

Hotter than the package said? Cook less. Cooler? A little more. Conductor's adjustments are asymmetric — a high-burn item being cooked even slightly too hot gets a steeper time cut than a forgiving one, because surface charring happens long before center cooking.

  3. 03

    It hands you the schedule.

The slowest item goes in first. The next item waits exactly long enough that, when its adjusted time is up, the slow one is also done. One oven, one finish line, no babysitting.

Frequently asked

The short version.

Can I bake pizza and wings at the same time?

Yes — most frozen items live in a 375–450°F window, so they share an oven well. Conductor picks the right common temperature and tells you when to put each item in so they finish together.

Is Conductor free?

Yes — up to two items per bake, no signup required. Conductor Pro ($2.99 one-time, no subscription) unlocks unlimited items per bake and double-oven mode.

Will my food burn?

Conductor classifies each food's burn sensitivity and refuses to combine items whose heat tolerances don't overlap — for those it suggests two batches instead. For compatible items, it warns about anything cooking noticeably hotter than its package recommends, so you can check it early.

Does it work with convection ovens?

Yes. Tap the gear icon at the top-right to switch your oven type — Conductor adjusts temperature and time for convection. Altitude and your oven's preheat time are also configurable from the same panel.

Will it work for recipes I'm baking from scratch?

Yes. Conductor doesn't care whether the temperature came from a frozen-food package or a Bon Appétit recipe — type in any temp/time and it'll handle it. The smart presets browser is optimized for common frozen items, but the calculator is fully manual when you need it.

Do you track me or sell my data?

No. The web tool stores your bake state in your browser only. Sign in if you want sync across devices — that stores your email and your bake data on our backend (Supabase), and that's all. We don't run advertising or analytics SDKs on the web.

Do I need to download an app?

Not for the web tool — it works in any browser. The OvenSync mobile app (coming soon to the App Store) adds barcode scanning, push-notification timers, and an Apple Watch glance.
