Read this if you intend to actually cook.
Conductor is a kitchen helper, not a substitute for paying attention to your oven.
Use at your own risk
Conductor's temperature and time recommendations are calculated heuristics based on commonly published cooking guidelines. They are not medical, food-safety, or fire-safety advice. Many factors we cannot know — your oven's calibration, the actual condition of the food, the rack position, altitude, your specific cookware — affect the outcome. Always check the food yourself before serving and never leave a hot oven unattended.
Food safety
Use a meat thermometer for poultry, ground meat, fish, and any item where doneness affects safety. The USDA, FSA, and Food Standards Australia each publish safe internal temperatures — follow those, not us. If Conductor recommends a temperature that conflicts with what the package or a food-safety authority says, follow the package or the authority.
Fire and burn safety
You are responsible for safely operating your oven. Do not place flammable materials on or near it. Use proper oven mitts. If you smell smoke or see flame, turn the oven off and follow your fire-safety plan — do not consult an app.
No warranty
Conductor is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that the recommendations will produce a satisfactory or safe result for any particular meal. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages — including spoiled food, kitchen damage, or personal injury — resulting from use of the app.
Conductor Pro
Conductor Pro is a one-time, non-subscription purchase that unlocks unlimited items per bake and other features described in-app at the time of purchase. The transaction is processed by Apple's App Store, Google Play, or our web payment processor. Refunds are governed by their policies:
- iOS: request via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Android: request via Google Play, generally within 48 hours.
- Web: email us within 14 days of purchase; we will issue a refund on request, no questions asked.
Account terms
You're responsible for keeping access to the email or social account you sign in with. If you lose access, contact us at [email protected] — we'll help recover or delete the Conductor account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (spamming the feedback endpoint, attempting to break authentication, etc.). Account deletion in Settings → Account is immediate; backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 days.
Acceptable use
Don't try to break, reverse-engineer beyond what's permitted by law, automate scrape, or otherwise misuse the service. Don't redistribute the app or its data. Don't use it to generate content that violates someone else's rights.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
